You are a successful writer and decided to leave the city for a while to clear your mind and recover your inspiration. On your way to visit some smaller cities, you have a strange accident that you can not explain and that's how you end up in a small town called Pine Falls. This is where you meet Alice, Mia and Grace, among others, and they all tell you a strange story about how a few years ago, people began to disappear, mostly men who left only a few.
